Anthony Armstrong

Your competitive edge didn't disappear. It's just looking for a new game.
You spent years knowing exactly who you were. The role, the routine, the identity.
Going from playing to game to the "real world" comes with challenges:
-
Unsure of what you're supposed to be chasing anymore
-
Decisions that used to be instinct now feel paralyzing
-
You're asking, "Who am I, now?", once you hang up the cleats
Here's the truth: the discipline, the drive, the ability to perform under pressure — none of that left. It's still in you.
It just needs to be pointed in a new direction.
That's what I help you find.

About Anthony
"I've lived it."
Zero-star high school recruit. Division II with a partial scholarship. Undrafted.
Failed my first NFL physical with the Atlanta Falcons.
Most people would've quit.
Instead, I found a way in -- and five years later, I was an NFL starting wide receiver.
After the NFL career ended, I became an entrepreneur.
And that's when it hit me: the same skills that got me from undrafted to the NFL -- the discipline, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure -- actually translate.
The uniform changed. Who I was didn't have to.
Now, as an ISSA Certified Transformation Specialist, I help athletes and professionals realize the same thing — that competitive excellence isn't stuck on the field. It travels with you into whatever comes next.

Undrafted to Unstoppable: A MINDSET for Success On and Off the Field
Every competitor eventually faces the same moment: the scoreboard disappears, and they're left asking who they are without it.
In this keynote, Anthony Armstrong shares his own journey — zero-star recruit, undrafted, five years of proving himself one level at a time before becoming an NFL starter — and the realization that came after the game ended: the skills that got him there weren't ONLY football skills. They were his.
Anthony gives audiences a practical way to see their transition not as starting over, but as starting ahead — and shows them how to build an identity outside of their sport using the same skills that already transfer from team to team.
Perfect for: Athletic departments, student-athlete summits, graduating classes, corporate teams in transition

Trusting Your Voice
Every young leader has a voice — the problem is most haven't been given permission to trust it yet.
In this talk, Anthony Armstrong speaks directly to the moment before someone steps into leadership: the hesitation, the second-guessing, the instinct to wait until you feel "ready."
Drawing from his own transition from athlete to entrepreneur, Anthony shows students and young professionals that trusting your voice isn't about having all the answers — it's a skill, and like any skill, it can be built.

The Undrafted to Unstoppable Workshop: A MINDSET for Success On and Off the Field
A keynote can spark the realization. A workshop is where it becomes a plan.
In this extended, hands-on session, Anthony walks your group through the 5D Playbook — Desires, Destination, Decisions, Drive, Deliver — the same framework he uses to help athletes and professionals move from uncertainty to direction.
Instead of just hearing the message, participants leave with a working plan for their own transition.
Format: Available as a half-day or full-day session, for groups or individuals. Includes guided worksheets participants keep and continue using after the session ends.
Perfect for: Athletic departments, graduating cohorts, corporate teams in transition, organizations extending the keynote into real follow-through
Ready to go even deeper? The 5D Playbook is also available as a multi-month coaching program, working through the framework with ongoing 1:1 or group coaching.
